So I talked to the mods at Discedo about Hans, and we came to an arrangement. Their reasons were sound, and they made sense, I told them I had a plan for him, and wouldn't be apping above 6 characters. Seems like he should be fully processed next week. Naru thanked me for being calm and reasonable about it, that sort of makes me sad that it's expected for people to not be reasonable. Sure I was a little disappointed, but it's just a game, and since I did talk to her I could see where the mod team was coming from, and it made sense and was fair.
Meanwhile, I keep trying to look for a power adapter for my CD walkman, there are none! I tried to get a multi adapter but none of the fittings would fit it, and the one I found that seemed to be fore it is like, $20 or so. Since I only want the adapter so I can play CDs at work that price is too much. It sucks so much.
I got the Atelier Lise and Annie art book, I wonder if another book will be made after Atelier Lina, or maybe there will be another game after Lina so there can be a new dual art book. So far all the DS Atelier games are illustrated by the same guy Nao Watanuki who illustrates the Asura Cryin light novel series. I rather like his style, I even started watching Asura Cryin because I was curious, turns out to be a really fun series, confusing, but fun and interesting. It's funny to watch though, the main character Tomoharu and Annie have a huge likeness. Not that he so much looks like a girl, but that Annie looks so much like a boy! I also got the drama CD, I don't know why... but something about the cover having poor Hans in drag made me curious, though considering the picture again, he could just be gender bent....
I also decided to get Professor Layton and the Curious Village, I should have that in my hands in a few days. Now that concludes my spending until I get paid, I really shouldn't spend anymore. Last year I had savings, and this year I don't. But, I guess that's what happens when you spend everything at Fanime, well not really Fanime but the week I went down to California.... I already registered for Fanime this next year, and I keep waiting for the hotel booking to open up. I have to make sure I can cover all the costs by then in case I'm alone, which is what I try and do every year. Last year was an amazing surprise, this year I don't know if I'll be so fortunate. I'm so used to people flaking out on me at the last minute.
